In this presentation, Rick Haws and Vince Sagan will review the latest changes to the widely adopted AISI S100, North American Specification for the Design of Cold-Formed Steel Structural Members.  In addition to technical changes and additions, the 2016 edition of the Specification has been significantly reorganized.  Intended for use in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, AISI S100 covers Allowable Stress Design (ASD), Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD), and Limit States Design (LSD).  It will be referenced in the next editions of the International Building Code (IBC) and the National Building Code of Canada (NBCC). 

Both Rick Haws and Vince Sagan serve on the American Iron and Steel Institute's Committee on Specifications (COS).  Rick Haws was recently appointed Chairman of the COS.
